ELT 1000
Never leave the runway without having an Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) on board. The ELT 1000 is equipped with NAV interface, so if you run into an emergency, search and rescue teams will be given your aircraft location in less than a minute, within 100 meters. In addition to providing position accuracy, the ELT 1000 transmits on 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz frequencies. B406-4 er blevet modificeret til at forbinde med Boeings Master Caution System i forbindelse med det DZUS-monterede cockpit-fjernpanel (P/N 453-0161) til B737 og er desuden godkendt til brug på alle modeller af B747, B757, B767 og B777.

Artex G406-4 nødlokaliseringssenderen ( ELT ) er designet med luftfartsmarkedet i tankerne og kommunikerer på alle 3 nødfrekvenser (121,5, 243,0 og 406 MHz). G406-4 ELT aktiveres automatisk under et nedbrud og sender en 406 MHz digital besked til et verdensomspændende netværk af søge- og redningssatellitter, hjælper lokale førstehjælpere med hurtigt og præcist at identificere, ikke kun hvor du er, men også hvem du er.
