We warrant this device to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not apply to:
- Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, nicks, and dents;
- Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship of the product;
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, water, flood, fire, or other acts of nature or external causes;
- Damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of Bivy
- Damage to a product that has been modified or altered except by specific written instruction from Bivy
Is the device really free?
Yes. With the 12-month Unlimited Plan, your Bivy Stick (a $199–$299 value) is included at no upfront device cost. You just pay the monthly subscription and a one-time $29.99 activation fee.
Can I cancel early?
No. The plan requires a 12-month commitment. Early cancellation isn’t available.
What happens after 12 months?
After 12 months, you own the device outright. Your plan automatically renews at $59.99/month unless you choose to cancel or change plans.
What’s the difference between Stick and MESH?
Bivy Stick offers reliable satellite 2-way messaging and SOS. Bivy Stick MESH adds LoRa® mesh networking so MESH devices can relay messages without using satellite credits.
Is coverage available globally?
Yes. Bivy uses the Iridium® network for 100% global coverage.
What happens if I don’t use all my credits?
You’ll be on an Unlimited plan during the 12-month term, so there are no credits to lose. If you switch to Basic or Plus after 12 months, unused credits on those plans roll over to the next month as long as your account is active or suspended.
Do I keep the device after 12 months?
Yes. The device is yours to keep once your 12-month term is complete.
