Vad hände?

Our Islander 32 was disabled in a storm on 10/26/14. This was a delivery from Honolulu to Everett, WA. I activated my beacon after determining the vessel was no longer seaworthy, and that continuing the 900 or so miles to Cape Flattery would be unwise. We were rescued by the Hyundai Grace, a Korean container ship with a Filipino crew, and taken to Panama.

Thank you ACR employees! Your product saved three lives in a nasty October storm in the North Pacific, and we and our families couldn’t be more grateful. I tell anyone who will listen–and some who don’t want to–that a PLB is as important a piece of safety gear as your PFD.
